He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Fellows Newton and Richard Allen Newton; and his brother James Dean Newton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Joyce Newton of Portageville; his sons, Nicholas Allen Newton of Gosnell and JJ James Paul Morrison Jr. of Portageville; his sisters, Robin Ann Loomis of South Haven and Barbara Ann Davis of Portageville; and his grandchildren, Kara Newton, Abigall Newton, Haley Newton and Aiden Newton.
