We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2020, at the age of 87, Loretta L. Vannatter of Portage des Sioux, Missouri, born in Saint Charles, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Arthur James Anderson; her husband Floyd Eugene Vannatter; her parents, Aloysius Stenger and Hortense Stenger; and her son Arthur "Archie" Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Debby Smith (Gary), Marsha Schmelz (Dave) and Sandra Hohensee (Mike Garcia); her grandchildren, Gary Smith (Katie), Trisha Goins (Dennis), Jason Schmelz (Mindy), Russell Hohensee, Andrew Hohensee (Casey) and Marissa Schmelz (Jon); and her brother Julian Stenger.
Memorials may be made in Loretta's name to Masses or Orchard Farm VFW or Evelyn's House Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart.
