We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025, at the age of 84, Vernon Clyde Parker of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Parker and Brady Lee (Snody); his granddaughter Carley Jo Carpenter; his great grandchild Adalynn Jean Carpenter; and his siblings, Margaret Jones, Barbara White, Shirley Perkins and Gaylon Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Longbottom Parker; his children, Shane Parker (Lorrie) of Gallatin, TN, Sommer Carpenter (Joseph) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Sloan Parker (Erin) of Poplar Bluff, MO; his grandchildren, LaDonna Parker, Willard Parker, Preston Parker, Anabella Parker, Gracie Parker, Garrett Parker, Piercyn Parker, Clayton Carpenter, Colton Carpenter, Dawson Parker, Carson Parker and Olivia Parker; and his great grandchildren, Archer Clyde, Declan Lewis Parker, Emelia Nicole Carpenter and Finley Lane Carpenter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Calvary's Grace Ministries, the nonprofit founded by Vernon to help those in need.
