She was predeceased by: her father German; her husband Dr. W. Alex Hoja; her sons, Dr. J. Michael Hoja and Paul Hoja; and her siblings, Lore Paasche and Michael Gaebler.

She is survived by: her son Tom Hoja (Dee) of Poplar Bluff; her siblings, Vroni Otto (Peter) and Christoph Gaebler (HanneLore); her nephews, Michael J. Hoja of Scotland and David Hoya of Scotland; and her niece Mary Rose Hoja (Paul) of Sweden. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
