With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Loraine Joplin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Cook and Callie Cook; and her husband Billie Vernice Barton. She is survived by: her children, Billie Ray Barton, Cathy Owens, Teresa Nye and Judy McCormick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Animal Welfare Alliance of Southeast Missouri.
