He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur "Bear" LaFond and Bernice LaFond (Koenig); his wife Mary (Parsons); his siblings, Shirley LaFond, Cherry Stalnecker, Cynthia Nicholson, Jack and Richard LaFond; and his daughter-in-law Paula Tibbs.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pam LaFond and Dan LaFond; his children, Marion Tibbs (Sharon), Allen Tibbs (Barbara), Darlene Yancey (Roger), Ron Tibbs and Sheena Carson (Kit); his grandchildren, Michelle Bates (Doug), Brian Tibbs (Lori), Kim Evans (Scott), Stacey Newberry, Marsha Lewis (Matt), Warren Yancey (Lauren), Mark Tibbs (Bethany), Jamie Kellerman, Becky Lowe (Randal), Brent Cooper (Terrye), Chris Glass (Katie), Misty Hill, Kit Carson Jr. and Sheryne Johnson (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Kaylee Hessling (David), Kelsey Williams, Lucas Tibbs, Tyson Tibbs (Kailey), Tanner Tibbs (Abby), Amber Wiggins (DJ), Tyler Evans, Mallory, Madison Newberry, West, Charlotte Yancey, Mia, Miles Lewis, Amber Murray (Kyle), Alexis Pilgram (Paul), Addysen Tibbs, Hunter, Kaden, Addie Kellerman, Chloe, Kristen Jones, Alexis Cogswell (Hudson), Hana Copeland (Nathan), Jordan, Camryn Cooper, Luna Franks, Blade-Andre Johnson, Crystal Glass, Brayden, Rowan, Maggie and Willow Glass; and his great great grandchildren, Kaydence, Jett, Lakelynn Hessling, Carter Williams, Teagan, Ava Murray, Gannon Evans, Ryker Rampani, Brystol and Royce Elliot Copeland. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
