As Ruther departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ruther may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ruther leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rise Hollis and Mary Hollis; and her son Quinton Miller. She is survived by: her husband Charles Anderson; her children, Barbara Lewis, Charlene Moss (Derrick), Allan Anderson, Sarah Booker (Tarrell), Penny Sanders (Isaac) and Katina Jones (Anthony); and her brothers, Dennis Hollis (Emma) and Andrew Hollis. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
