He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Boyers and Clelah Boyers (Loge); his siblings, Johnny, Auburn, Kelly Boyers, Kate Hamilton, Georgia "Jo" Casinger, Alice Ellis and Faye Sisk; and his grandson Shawn Tibbs.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Boyers (Casinger); his children, Eric Boyers (Susan), Cynthia G. Boyers Wellham and Cheryl Tibbs (T. R.); his grandchildren, Shane Tibbs (Mischelle), Mandy Livingston (Dustin), Seth Tibbs (Molly) and Cody Boyers (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Tabatha, Terra, Michara, Shawn-Paul, Colton, Odin, Addison and Alaina. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
