He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Herschel Hon; his sister Rosa; and his brother-in-law Paul Kearbey. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Freeman Hon; his mother Betty Jean Hon of Poplar Bluff; his children, Shelby Hon of Poplar Bluff and Travis James Pickard of Piedmont; his nephew Michael Wayne Hon; his grandchildren, Joseph and Octavia Dowdy; his siblings, Ralph "Doug" Hon (Bobbie) of Poplar Bluff, Bob Case (Sandy) of Poplar Bluff and Retta Wells (Andy) of Poplar Bluff; his sisters-in-law, Mary Dean (Larry) of New Bloomfield, PA and Lesley Swafford (Jerry) of Poplar Bluff; and his close friends, Joe Dowdy and Cintya Hernandez.
