It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Vestina Mabry of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Stroud and Myrtle Stroud (Talley); and her husband L. V. Mabry. She is survived by: her children, Doug Mabry (Sandy), Randy Mabry (Brenda), Darrell Mabry (Suzanne) and Denise Sprick (Mike); her grandchildren, John Mabry (Laura), Miranda Mabry, Matt Plunkett, Brent Wagner (Megan) and Sean Butler (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Jayce, Helena, Millie, Ryan, Kami, Drake, Kasen, Sean Luke and Joshua Emmit; her great great grandchild Weston; and her sister-in-law Betty Kelsaw. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 Iron Bridge Rd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
