With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael David Smith of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Ann Odle Smith and Lester Jack Smith; and his cousin Guy 'Butch Shackelford. He is survived by: his wife Billie; and his stepchildren, Tammy Kassinger of Mobile, Jason Bell and Keith Nunn of Poplar Bluff. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a wealth of family and friends.
