He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lawrence Wilkerson and Evelyn Pauline Wilkerson (Pendergrass); his wife Kathleen Wilkerson; his children, Shannon Wilkerson and Paula Lucas; and his brother Jimmy Wilkerson.
He is survived by: his children, Preston Wilkerson (Angela) of Perryville and Tonya Herbst (Matt) of Farmington; his stepchildren, Edward, Loretta Emmendorfer, Karen Shepherd and Kenny Emmendorfer (Lisa); and his siblings, Patricia Blancett, Paulette Wilkerson and Gary Wilkerson (Kay). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
