Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leland Ray Duncan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 95, on November 12, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Duncan and Julia Duncan (Lane); his siblings, Thurman Duncan, Verda McCall and Euna Atkinson LeMay; and his son David Warren Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Tindall; his sons, Wally Duncan (Kathy) of Poplar Bluff and Greg Duncan (Mariela) of Phuket, Thailand; his grandchildren, Eric Duncan (Cristina), Natalie Gunning (Ben), Nicole Hewitt (Andrew), Sophie Duncan and Alex Duncan; and his great grandchildren, Connor Duncan, Everleigh Hewitt, Axel Gunning and Ruby Gunning. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fellowship General Baptist Church (3581 N Westwood Blvd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Faithful Milers Sunday School Class at Fellowship General Baptist Church, 3581 N. Westwood Blvd., Poplar Bluff, MO 63901; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Shriners Hospital for Children in St. Louis.
