It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lavoy Zumwalt of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, born in Danville, Arkansas, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Martin and Dovie Martin; her husband Robert Zumwalt; and her brother Sonny Martin. She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Martin Hill (Gordon) of Springfield, IL and Jerry Martin (Tony) of Fisk, MO.; her children, Jean Hildebrandt (Art) of Chesapeake, VA and Nathan Zumwalt of Poplar Bluff; her grandchildren, Ashley Hildebrandt (Jorge) and Andrew Hildebrandt (Jennifer); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Ellie, Gavin, Adelyn and Harper. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral and Cremation Services (1100 Iron Bridge Rd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff.
