He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis West and Mattie West (Prince); his wife Della Mae Wietz; and his siblings, Odell, Lloyd, Harvey, Bruce, Corby West, Doris Wilkins, Jeanette Edwards and Carrie "Sissy" Hancock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery (1901 N Main St, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901).
