He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ruhl and Geneva Ruhl (Mixer); his in-laws, Herbert and Alice Watson; and his brother-in-law Wayne Dismore.
He is survived by: his wife Helena Mae Ruhl (Watson); his siblings, Eva Beth Dismore, Leona Mettemeyer (Bob) and Larry Ruhl (Linda); and his children, Becky Hartwig (Brian), Tony Ruhl (Sundy) and Peggy Peterson (Jeffrey). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
