He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Michel and Ida Michel (Dietrick); his former wife Rose Marie Michel; his sister Gerry Eberhart; and his daughter-in-law Melissa Michel.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Moore; his children, David Farris (Mary) of Poplar Bluff, Deborah Farris Merimee (Randy) of Poplar Bluff, Christopher Michel of Poplar Bluff and Marty Michel (Julita) of Poplar Bluff; his grandchildren, Gregory McDaniel of Denver, CO, Julie Farris Ferguson of Ballwin, MO, Katie Farris Spellman (Andy) of Des Moines, IA, Anthony Michel (Erica) of Birmingham, AL, Matthew Michel (Taylor) of Birmingham, AL, Nicholas Michel (Nikkia) of Birmingham, AL, Taylor Michel of Sterling, CO and Quentin Michel (Mattie) of Monett, MO; and his stepchildren, Steven Moore of Columbia, MO and Kelly Varney of Nesbit, MS.. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
