With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Nathaniel Carter of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, born in Kennett, Missouri, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Elbert Cozy Carter; his grandparents, Dora and Laddie Boyer; and his aunt Goldie. He is survived by: his mother Jo Ellen Carter (Boyer) of Ellsinore, MO; his wife Cynthia Carter of Poplar Bluff, MO; and his siblings, Cameron of Poplar Bluff, MO, Abigail Beckwith (Darnell) of Jackson, MO, Erika Stewart of Paducah, KY and Jennifer Karim of Egypt. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
