He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilburn Kearbey and Nella Deaton Parkin; and his sister Wilma Eldida Berry. He is survived by: his wife Arnolee Chatman; his children, John Wayne Kearbey (Kathy), Cheryl Matthews West (Barry) and Denis Kearbey (Pam); his grandchildren, John Warren Kearbey, Rachel Daniels, Ethan Kearbey, Justin Robert West, Cecelia West, Chad Kearbey and Amber Holifield; and his nephew Stan Berry. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild.
