He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Franklin and Muriel Neal Garris; and his brother Kenneth Garris. He is survived by: his children, Eric Garris (Jennifer) of Risco, Timothy Garris (Meredith) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Amanda Lara (Jose) of Malden, MO; his grandchildren, Faith Davis (Isaac), Abbi Garris, Tony Greene, Kailee Smith (Matt), Joe Lara (Bailee), Gabriel Lara (Emily) and Jazmine Lara; his great grandchild Lazarus Lara; and his sisters, Mary Mims and Debra Cook. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
