He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mikel and Bertha Mae Mikel; and his daughter Debra Mikel. He is survived by: his son Jimme Mikel of Ballard, WV; his stepdaughters, Theresa Ward of Poplar Bluff, MO and Ann Obrien of Maricopa, AZ; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jasmine and Jarret. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
