He was predeceased by: his parents, James Crutchfield and Ota Crutchfield (Ennest); his granddaughter Natasha Andrews; his great grandchild Huxley Jackson; and his siblings, A. C., Wayne, Elmar, Melvin, Jesse Crutchfield, Varble "Bo" Parson, Lora Gumpert and Drusilla "Peggy" Crutchfield.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Smith; his children, Laniel Crutchfield (Olivia) of Farmington, Lynn Street (Wayne) of Piedmont, Sandy Wood (John) of Poplar Bluff and Karen Morris (Dale) of Piedmont; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Matthew, Christopher Andrews, Katrina Wilkins, Brandon, Jeremy Luke, Valarie Birkmier, Mindy Crawford, Stacy Kohtz, Sarah Kitchell, Kelly Redoutey and Jeannette Townsend; his siblings, Tommy Crutchfield (Loretta) of Ellington, Raymond Crutchfield (Dee) of Advance and Leota McFall Union; and his pet Lady. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and his second loyal best friend and companion.
