He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulys Vancil and Jewel Vancil; and his siblings, Vialita Albert, Loretta Hillis, Charles, Melvin and Donald Vancil.
He is survived by: his children, Renee McBroom (Nick) of Festus, MO, Tonyi Deffendall (David) of Broseley, MO and Dana Rieck (Brett) of Louisburg, KS; and his grandchildren, Tryna, Brandi, Tyler, Justin, Brooke, Brianna and Alyssa. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
