With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Evelyn Gertrude Cassinger of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, born in Neelyville, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard Emmons and Letha "Reeves" Emmons; her husband Harold W. Cassinger; her daughter Bonnie Sue Cassinger; her grandson Jeff; her siblings, Mary Jane Quigley, Janice Crabtree, Myrtle Anderson, Richard Emmons, Alvie Emmons and Harvey "Sonny" Emmons; her half-brother Leonard Grimes; and also Barbara Grimes.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Cassinger (Debra), Richard Cassinger (Susie) and Carey Cassinger; her grandchildren, Richard Wayne, Alan, Brad, Cody, Trey and Mariah; her great grandchildren, Craig, Chelsey, Cory, Hayden, Hana Kate, Austin, Aubrie, Will and Madison; her great great grandchildren, Bennett, Raelyn, Julian, Anna Lee, Duke, Dawson, Skylynne, Kyngston, Alias, Jaxon and Emily; and her half-siblings, Betty Grimes, Doris Grimes, Wanda Grimes, Charles Emmons, Jr., Bill Grimes and Gene Grimes.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home (844 Cedar St, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
