It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest Jasper Phelan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Phelan and Cummins; the mother of his children Peggy Phelan; his former wife Alice; his stepchild Pandra; his siblings, Grant, Bill and Janet Johnson; and his pet Lucky.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Phelan (Parish); his children, Christina Hill (Gene), Rhonda Phelan, Jason Robinson (Lisa) and Jeffery Robinson; his stepdaughter Melissa; and his sister-in-law Patsy Phelan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
