It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Sue McCord of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dunaway and Lorene Dunaway (Brandon); her former husband J. V. Barnett; her husband Donald McCord; her son Jimmy Don Barnett; and her sister-in-law Rosita Dunaway.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Asher (George) and Dawn Tinsley (Paul); her brothers, Don Dunaway (Jean) and Paul Dunaway (Monica); her grandchildren, Jason (Courtney), Jennifer, Sammie, Cheyenne, Shannon, Romeo, Courtney and Sky; her nieces, Wendy Schalk (Phillip) and Lisa Dunaway; and her nephew Donald Dunaway. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, extended family.
