He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard David Shelton, Sr. and Constance Marcella Shelton (Woodard). He is survived by: his siblings, Howard David Shelton Jr. (Karen), Kamau Kemayo, Cheryl Shelton (Carl Golden), Gregory Shelton and Michael Shelton (Marilyn); and his aunt Lillian Victoria Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
