She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kanell and Iva Kanell (Walker); her children, Lewis Pruitt and Elizabeth Turcotte (Pruitt); her grandson Thomas Lewis Pruitt II; and her siblings, Claude, Norman, Glen, Vernon, Robert, Billie Gene Kanell and Wanda Kanell Burkett.
She is survived by: her sister Fay Powell; her great grandchildren, Alana, Thomas and Tommie Lynn Pruitt; her siblings-in-law, James Burkett and Shirley Kanell; and her son-in-law Jason Turcotte. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
