It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Klein of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, born in Gideon, Missouri, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Brooks and Sylvia Brooks (Potter); her husband Willard Preston Klein, Sr.; her brother Larry Brooks; her granddaughter Tennie Jo Hopkins; and her son-in-law Felix Ray Carrera.

She is survived by: her children, Regina Hinton (Marvin), Elaine Carrera, Phyllis Kennedy (JB David Bruce), Sylvia Ann Greeder and Willard Preston Klein, Jr. (Cynthia); and her brother William Joseph'Dub'Brooks. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren.
