We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2021, at the age of 74, Sharon F. Smith of Polo, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon F. Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Dixon and Susan Viola Higgins (Boone); her husband Darrell Gene Smith; her brother Gary Higgins; and her daughter Penelope.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Smith of Cowgill; her siblings, Andrea Sutherland of Parkville, Carol Helean of St. Joseph, Donna Dunn (Bill) of Savannah, Loren Higgins (Marsha) of Springfield and Forrest Higgins (Mary) of Kansas; her grandchildren, Camillia Brashear (Stephen) of Kansas City, Holly Leeper of Cowgill, Jay Leeper Jr. of Cowgill and Rosemary Leeper of Cowgill; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Elizabeth and Parker Brashear. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Caldwell County Nutrition Center in care of the funeral home.
