She was predeceased by: her mothers, Doris Carter and Imogene Carter (O'Kelley); and her brother Mark Carter. She is survived by: her husband Richard Lana; her children, Jason Lana of Polo and Rachel Nichols (John) of Polo; her sister Beverly Trayler of Cameron; her grandchildren, Jasmine, Katherine, Brian, Alexis, Hailee, Jeff and Jacob; and her great grandchild Rowan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Polo Christian Church in care of the funeral home.
