It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darren Anthony Smith of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Joe and Marjorie Smith; and his nieces, Lesli Slack and Emily Wells. He is survived by: his sons, Logan and Bobby; the parent of his children Makenzie Carter; his close friend April Smith; and his siblings, John Smith (Cinda) of Bolivar, Larry Smith (Donna) of Morrisville, Susan Melton (Stacy) of Dadeville, Sondra Rogers (Alan) of Morrisville, Candy Smith of Greenfield, IN and Lori Hunter (Brian) of Raymondville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to O'Bannon Bank in Fair Grove on behalf of Darren's boys.
