He was predeceased by: his mother Erma F. Flynn (Blew); and his stepfather Jerome F. Flynn. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Marlene Schade of Pleasant Hill; his children, Justin J. Bonard (Abigail) of Sanger, Jarrett C. Bonard (Jodi) of San Antonio, Kathleen R. Nowak (Nicholas) of Charleston, Mary H. Brandenburg (John) of Blue Springs and Gillian F. Haight (Kelsie) of Rockford, Illinois; his grandchildren, Judah Bonard, Elijah Bonard, Jaylin Bonard, Jessa Bonard, Samuel Nowak, Quinn Nowak, Eliza Nowak, Helen Brandenburg, John Jr. Brandenburg and Alice Brandenburg; and his sisters, Donna Tollerton of Kearney and Dana Melton (Norris) of Chillicothe, Missouri. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stanley-Edenburn Funeral Home (203 N Armstrong St, Pleasant Hill, MO 64080).
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Anne's Episcopal Church or the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
