She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Duval and Pearl Eva Duval (Mitchel); her husband Arthur F. McConnell; and her son Mark McConnell. She is survived by: her children, Sheila White (Roger), Art McConnell, Rick McConnell, Gene McConnell (Verla), Joe McConnell (Sandy), Pauline Walden and Jimmy McConnell. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth asked that donations be made to Forest Grove Baptist Church, 16100 S. Hadsell Road, Pleasant Hill, Missouri 64080.
