It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell G. Harvkey of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie C. and Mary L. Harvkey (Cockrell); his sons-in-law, Fernando Cortinas and Jason Fleming; and his grandson Kilian Harvkey.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ann Sullivan of Pleasant Hill; his children, Amie Fleming, Zak Harvkey (Krista) and Melissa Thornsberry (Chris); his grandchildren, Harrison Cortinas (Michilla), Katie Cortinas of Brandon Fleming, J. J, Rylea Harvkey, Owen Thornsberry, Kennady Thornsberry, Emmett Thornsberry and Casen Thornsberry; his great grandchildren, Cooper Cortinas and Aiden Selser-Lambert; and his siblings, Bessie Graham, Sam Harvkey, Ila Davis, Vickie Perks (Paul) and Jack Harvkey (Diane). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the V.A. Hospital of St. Louis and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
