He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Johnson of Pleasant Hill; his daughters, Annita Cox of Raymore and Holly Vaughn; his son-in-law Rick Vaughn; his grandchildren, Mitch Vaughn, Emily King, Rachel Wandel (David), Brian Cox (Wei) and Sarah Brooks (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Maddox Edward, Summer, Jack, Hudson, Wyatt, Blake and Rylee.
Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
