He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sidney and Ruby Lee Guffey (Haney); and his siblings, Mary, Gene, Tom, Lucille, Grace, Pat, Delbert, Ruth and Arlene.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Guffey of Pleasant Hill; his children, Mark Guffey (Sherry) of Pleasant Hill and Marla Tapia (Paul) of Wentzville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Hannah Glidwell (Ryan), Zachary Tapia, Madison Tapia, Jack Tapia and Elijah Guffey; his great grandchildren, Bentley Glidwell and Breelan Glidwell; and his sister Doretta Bruno of Raytown, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Hill First Christian Church or the Pleasant Hill Lay Clergy Council and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
