He was predeceased by: his wife Deloris; his daughter Idona; and his siblings, Charles and Dixie Reich. He is survived by: his children, Charles Tate (Debbie), Nina Dowell and Janie Kahler (Brent); his grandchildren, Shannon Tate, Kristie Hall (Parker), Chris Barnhill (Kristie), Jason Barnhill (Mary), Khrystian, William, Riley, Addison and Ainslie; his great grandchildren, Casey, Arlie, Courtney, Colby, Bryson, Shane, Tara, Becky and Kylie; his siblings, Harry Tate and Lucy Dale; and also, Ike Tate (Sandy) and Marion Tate. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.

Burial with Military Honors: Grayson Cemetery Donations may be made in his memory c/o Nina Dowell.
