She is survived by: her husband Luther; her children, Bill Carter (Rozanna) of Marietta, GA, Donna Howard (Jerry) and Eric Carter (Diana); her grandchildren, Lisa Howard, Doug Howard (Angela), Stacy Howard, Derek Carter, Shauna Bachmeier (Kyle), Erica Hardy (John) and Zoe Carter; her great grandchildren, Nia, Miles, Eloise and George; her brother Dwight Thacker; and also, Donna and Chapter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
