He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Doty and Blanche Doty; his wife Gloria Doty; and his son Robert Franklin Doty. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Doty (Barbara), Cheryl Doty, Debra Bastarache (Brian) and Mike Doty (Lisa); and his siblings, Larry Doty (Ruby), Helen Johnson, Betty Schlotzhauer and Rusty. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
