She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Swope and Edith Swope (Daniels); her husband Billy Paul Steinman; her stepfather Veryl; her sister Tootsie; her brother-in-law Jay; and her son-in-law Gary.

She is survived by: her children, David (Sheri Steinman), Julie (Scott Clark) and Melanie VanHooser. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, step-brothers and step-sisters.
