He was predeceased by: his mother Genevieve Farris (Benner); his grandson Marshall Eugene Sprague III; and his brother Jack Farris. He is survived by: his father Raymond Lee; his wife Emma Blackford; his children, Ginger Crow (Mark) of Parkville, Nicole Cox (Charley), Rachael Reyes (Tony) of Kansas City and Clinton Farris (Megan) of Oak Grove, Missouri; his siblings, Barbara Thomas (James) of Smithville, Missouri and James Wade (Julie) of San Antonio, Texas; and his stepmother Kathryn Buckley of Faucett, Missouri.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM.
