It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avanell S. Dedman of Plattsburg, Missouri, born in Cameron, Missouri, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rolla N. Sloan and Josephine Grove Sloan; her husband Robert S. "Bob" Dedman; and her brothers, Gerald and Burt Sloan.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Dedman, Laurie Martz (Ron) of Gladstone Missouri and Stan Dedman (Cheri) of Plattsburg Missouri; her grandsons, Sean Martz (Amelia), Jon Martz, Stuart Dedman (Kristy) and Curtis Dedman (Lisa); and her great grandchildren, Masen, Hayden, Sophia, Charlie Robert, Alacard and Michael.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Plattsburg Senior Center or the Alzheimer's Association.
