She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert A Schober (Scotty) and Flourine Schober (Stutz); her husband Fred H True; her son Scott True (Elizabeth); her daughter-in-law Sarah True; her grandchildren, Lina (Justin Petrel), Brittney (Charles Fillmore), Savannah True, Eric True and Jamie True; and her great grandchildren, Richard Johnson, Jax Petrel, Kolt Petrel, Amylynn Fillmore, Emmaleigh True, Mila True and Myles True.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Platte Woods United Methodist Church (7310 NW Prairie View Rd, Platte Woods, MO 64151). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
She served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Kansas City Sports Commission and Foundation and was the recipient of the Female Volunteer of the year in 2007.
