He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Darrow and Effie McGuire Darrow; and his siblings, Marie, Lorena, Edgle, Vencil and David.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred May Sherrer; his daughters, Brenda Wise of Parkville, Karen Davis of Platte Woods and Rita Wiley of Parkville, Missouri; and his sisters, Emma Wasmner of Eldon and Betty Jo Cox of Marshfield, Missouri.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
