She was predeceased by: her parents, Verna Schmidgall and Cecil Parrish; her sister Marilyn Nyberg; her nephew Eric Nyberg; and her niece Stacie Sparks.
She is survived by: her husband Steven B. Gilbert; her children, Kelly Platt of New Smyrna Beach and Scott; her daughter-in-law Melissa Platt; her granddaughters, Faith Dodson and Gabrielle Underwood of Central, MO; her great-niece Chelcie Nyberg of Independence; her pet Princess Snowball; her friends, Janet, Dale and Kelly; and her sisters-in-law, Alexa and Connie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Platte Woods United Methodist Church (7310 NW Prairie View Rd, Platte Woods, MO 64151). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
