It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Stark of Platte City, Missouri, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Edwin and Doris Geneva Stark (Hawkins); his former wife Ginger Schanuth; and his siblings, Ronnie Stark and Clara Ross.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Kay Phillips; his children, Tammy Thompson (Timothy), Jody Romaker (Nolan) of Camden Point, MO, Randy Stark (Erin), Danny Stark (Miranda), Tabatha White of Lathrop, MO and Glenda Day (Matt) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Blake, Madison, Bailee, Nathan, Matthew, Wyatt, Carson, Jozie, Abriella, Dexton and David; and his sister Doris Vigliaturo (Frank) of Independence, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to the Camden Point Cemetery Association.
