He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his son Randy Shanks (Mary Ellen); his grandchildren, Megan Jones, Heather Wilkie (Brad), Jordan Keefhaver (Ben), Kyle Shanks (Amy), Justin Shanks, Grant Shanks and Michael Shanks; his great grandchildren, Vivian, Eleanor, Lennon, Dylan, Isabelle, Lily and Rylan; and his siblings, Howard Masoner Shanks, Edna Salkowski, Janet Lee Perkins and Marjorie Mundt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
