He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Grame (Mother) and Charles Grame (Father); his brother Jerry Grame; and his brothers-in-law, Don Lasswell, Skip Foster and Scoot Foster.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Susan Grame; his children, Bub (Andria) of Springfield, MO, Bess (Walter) of Platte City, MO and Bry (Courtney) of Liberty, MO; his grandchildren, Cade, Kenny, Barrett, Charli Sue and Brock; and his siblings, Myrna, Elaine, Alnoma, Judy, Carolee, Donna, Dinah, Gay, Shell, Amie, Tom, Daryl, Gordan, Glen and Jon.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (18905 MO-45, Weston, MO 64098). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to KC Pet Project, an organization Melvin felt strongly about.
