It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Juanita Guidry Journee in Platte City, Missouri, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Guidry and Beatrice Thibodeaux Guidry; and her grandparent Pop-Gid. She is survived by: her children, William E. Journée Jr., Desiree A. Journée, Dr. M. Conrad Journée (Cherie) and Nicole L. Minnick (Ryan); her grandchildren, Brittney Lea, William Stepter, Kirsten Ramos, Alexis Grant, Zachary Ropka and Brody Minnick; her great grandchildren, Zuri, William, Roy and Geno; and her brother Ulysses Guidry. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces, & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (5550 N Jackson Ave, Kansas City, MO 64119).
